Golden Hour

You learn early on in photography that the best time of day to take pictures is within an hour of sunrise or the hour before sunset. All these years later, I’ve found my confidence in other parts of the day, and can make just about any other type of lighting situation work.

But there’s a reason they call it the golden hour, you know?

I took these photos as part of a photography workshop with my friend Jenny through Exhale. The prompt was shadows.
